Draft for legal and operational review. This document is not effective and must not be treated as an approved policy or agreement.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Masbatch handles personal information when you visit our website, create or use an account, work in a Masbatch organization, or contact our team.
Scope and our role
Masbatch provides business software for physical inventory, lots, warehouse movements, manufacturing batches, genealogy, quality, release, CAPA, recall, and traceability. MAS OS manages the shared MAS account, profile, authentication, company membership, and application roles that Masbatch uses to provide access. Masbatch handles personal information needed to provide, secure, and support the Masbatch service. Your company controls the operational records it adds to its workspace; for that content, Masbatch processes personal information on the company's instructions. Your company's own privacy notice may also apply.
Information we collect and where it comes from
We collect information you or your organization provide, including names, work email addresses, profile details, organization and team information, support messages, uploads, and product, brand, supplier, customer, inventory, batch, expiry, quality, destination, and audit records that may identify a person. We also collect sign-in and security records, IP address, device and browser details, language and timezone preferences, feature activity, error and performance information, and essential cookie or session data. We may receive account, company, role, and permission information from MAS OS and information from integrations your organization enables.
How and why we use information
We use personal information to receive account and access information from MAS OS; provide, localize, support, and maintain Masbatch; verify MAS OS sessions and enforce Masbatch permissions; record traceable changes; process imports, exports, backups, notifications, and support requests; prevent abuse and investigate security events; communicate service and policy updates; comply with law; and understand and improve reliability and usability. Where applicable, our legal bases are performance of our agreement, compliance with legal duties, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting a business service, and consent when the law requires it. We do not use Masbatch to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people.
When we share information
We share information only as needed with authorized members and administrators of your organization; MAS OS and other MAS products your organization uses; vendors that provide hosting, storage, database, email, security, authentication, monitoring, and customer-support services; professional advisers; and public authorities or other parties when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale. Vendors may use information only to provide services to us under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers, retention, and security
Masbatch and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards and apply protections appropriate to the information and destination. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, preserve required operational and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal duties, and maintain security. Retention depends on the record, workspace settings, account status, and applicable law; deleted information may remain temporarily in protected backups until they rotate. We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about and access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and complain to a data-protection authority. Some rights are limited where information must be kept for legal, security, audit, or operational reasons. Profile, sign-in, and account-security settings are managed in MAS OS. Masbatch company owners can use available export and deletion controls for Masbatch workspace data. Other privacy requests require a public contact method in the final approved notice; this draft does not yet designate one. We may verify your identity and, for workspace content, direct the request to your company.
Children and sensitive information
Masbatch is a business service and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account. Do not submit health information, government identification numbers, financial-account credentials, or other special-category or highly sensitive personal information to Masbatch. Such information may be submitted only where a written agreement with the Masbatch contracting entity expressly permits that data category and states the required safeguards.
Changes and contact
We may update this draft as the service, operating facts, or legal requirements change. Before any privacy notice takes effect, it must identify the responsible operator or controller, its public contact method, and any other legally required details. This draft does not yet designate those facts and must not be relied on as an effective privacy notice.
